BAM!!! KAPOW!!! BOOM!!! It's Good Deed Friday

It's a Bird!

It's a Plane!

NO..............

It's Your Little Super Hero!!!

But...Do they have the Perfect Cape???

Allison Faunce of Little Hero Capes, didn't think so after she saw that her son was running around with a dishtowel around his neck. She then decided to put her sewing skills to good use and make a few capes for her son and his lil' buddies. “It was cool to see how kids, especially the shy ones, responded once they had their capes on,” Allison says. “They had this newfound courage."

Last November, Allison launched Little Hero Capes. As a bonus, 10 percent of each sale is donated to the Discovery Arts Program in Orange, California. The program provides art, music, dance, and drama to children with life-threatening illnesses. You can also buy specialized Courage Capes, which they'll deliver directly to a child in the hospital. Discovery Arts takes photos of each kid and her cape and sends a shot to the person who donated it, so you can see your caped crusader in action.

Let your little one's imagination soar with a Little Hero Cape OR Participate in Good Deed Friday and purchase a Courage Cape for a Lil' Special Hero!!!

Aw, so adorable...I love the idea! My son doesn't play superhero anymore--more into Transformers etc. now-- but maybe my daughter will when she's older.
